Hi, I'm Amy
ABOUT ME
I currently live in North Rockwall with my husband Trace and five children: Kassidy, RHS '19 is an OU education major; Joshua, RHS senior; Cash, 2nd grade; and two-year-old twins Roman and Caroline.

Having raised very active children in this district, I’ve had a front-row seat to the pride with which our school board leads and I intend to continue that legacy with integrity and fresh perspective.
My family has been in Rockwall since 1998, and with the twins being RHS class of 2037, I am committed to the long-term success of RISD.
CAREER
I am a former COO and owner of a Rockwall County business for 16 years. I grew the organization to over 55 employees and successfully sold in late 2016, taking that opportunity to stay home with my very busy family. I currently coach entrepreneurs and intend to utilize my business background and organizational experience to facilitate growth and progress in RISD.

MISSION
Fresh Perspective for the Future
I will bring a fresh perspective to the board. I am prepared to challenge the status quo for the benefit of our students and educators. I would love to facilitate bringing a JROTC to Rockwall ISD. I believe strongly that straight to college isn’t necessarily the best path for every student, particularly given the rising cost of a college education and the declining return on that investment. I will bring more attention to the value of trade schools and military service.
